I was raised in Orlando, Florida. In 2019 graduated from the University of Tampa with a B.S. in Biology and minors in Business Administration and Chemistry.
After undergrad, I obtained my license and worked as an EMT for two years at an Urgent Care and as the lead Medical Assistant in the COVID wing of the clinic. I currently work at Moffitt Cancer Center as a Research Assistant with my main focus of study on the gut microbiome and the impact it has in relation to various cancers such as Colorectal and Breast cancer.
I joined the Darch lab in October of 2022 as a MS in Medical Sciences student with a focus on Molecular Medicine. There, I am currently investigating the qualities of bacterial aggregate dispersal with a focus on Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
In my free time, I am typically baking, cycling, or reading.
